Remember when I showed you the work in progress? Well like most things that take time, I get side-tracked from them so I left it in my folder untouched until Ms. Henry tells me two days ago (Wednesday) that she would like it by today (Friday.) So.... in the course of two days I did the Caterpillar, a second tree, a fence, the teaparty table, Hare, Doormouse, Mad Hatter, bush archway, the Door, and Queen of Hearts. It came out a lot better and just as detailed and fun as a planned. My fingers are killing me, I went through two exact-o-knife blades and my writer's bump is very sore.
I likes abusing myself for this though. Ms. Henry wanted to now because she is entering it into a contest. But more than likely, I'm going to be stuck with shit-luck losing to some egocentric jackass who wins by scribbling an abstract 'goldfish' with Crayola crayons. The last contest I was in was held at a high school and coincidentally, all the words were given to kids from that school. And it wasn't like a majority of submissions was from their kids, only so many entries could come from each school. And my friend lost to an abstract 'goldfish' in her last contest. Some asshole painted it and they just said, "Well I just wanted to do a goldfish." This is a first place ART winner... who seemed to have no sense of depth what so ever......
Details: Door [link] White Rabbit & Mushrooms [link] March Hare, parts of Tea Table, Archway, & Fence [link] Mad Hatter, Doormouse (in the teacup on the table,) parts of Archway, Fence, & Tea Table [link] Close up (Everything is here except the queen)[link] The Queen [link]
Simply amazing Blu! I believe you have the potential to win that contest. Actually, I KNOW you can win that contest. Let's just hope it isn't rigged, yeah?
Keep that artistic mind going, my friend!

Thank you, Lily! Meow! Yeah, like I told you before, I can only send out messages. And I'm so sorry again about the driver's test and that nag of an instructor.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
